Need a new rudder for 83 Supra Rider

Hey All,

I sheared off my rudder on my maiden voyage of my '83 Rider. The curse of Lake Oconee in GA is under water tree stumps. I have had no luck find a replacement. Even a local dealer seems stumped (no pun intended). Does anyone know where to get a replacement?

The shop that welded my pontoon has a brand new rudder he ordered for a nautique. Im not sure it will fit but he will make you a deal if it does. Here is what it is.

Not to burst your bubble but I think the Nautique rudders are different and won't work with our existing ports... I can't remember what it was that was different, unfortunately.

However, the Marine Hardware rudders from skidim are great, and come with a new rudder port and everything. Fantastic upgrade, if I recall I paid $376 with shipping when I did mine a few years ago. Do a search on here for a couple threads about rudder replacement, and rudder tuning, as you will likely have to "tune" it a little. Read the threads and you'll see what I mean, it's a little tedious but simple and you'll (hopefully) never have to do it again.
