Why does every add lately state its a rare boat?

Yeah...it's odd that people are playing the rare card. The other one that gets me is 100% composite which is not true. There's well over 20 pieces of wood in those boats that do indeed rot...all easy fixes by comparison to stringers and a floor, but still work.

Yeah I need to redo the base of my dog house this winter. Thinking about installing a new carpet also.

When I was looking for a Saltare/SunSport, I saw this ad with no pictures and called the guy. He was pretty arrogant on the phone, thinking he had a gold mine to sell. I never even got pictures and he would not budge off his price, so I never gave this boat a second thought. Now he has changed his tune a bit, but is still high in his asking price if you are asking me.

Something has to be up with it if it's still for sale. Even at 10k it's worth it. I think something is up with the motor. With all the work it seems like a bandaid for a rebuild. I wish it was closer to me
