1986 Supra Sunsport open bow. This boat is a project,I bought it that way,and have decided that I have too many other projects. The hull is in fantastic shape for its age! I have some history with this boat, being why I bought it. It has a freeze cracked small block 350,and needs new interior. the trailer is in great shape as well. its a mid engine direct drive. For any further info feel free to call or text.
$2000 obo price is a starting point, I want it gone! Title in hand.

So they put a 350 chevy in it and could never get it running right then froze the block. Thoughts?

I bet it a 5.8 and they can't tell the difference. I looked at two project around me and both claimed to be 350 and both were 5.8s. If the block is cracked it's more then likely shot. By the time you put a new interior and then do a drive train you be far exceeded the price of the boat. I would offer around $500 for it

Same thought. And if you put a be drive train and interior you might as well put a floor in it because you know it needs it.

Yeah the person that buys this is going to spend 8k pretty quickly. You can buy them done for less. To do this right you're look 2500 for a floor another 1500-2k on interior. A ton of hours wet sanding the hull. 800 on a new top. Then you still have a motor and possibly a tranny. IM guessing 1500 for a cheap rebuilt motor on the low side. It would be a good project but not at 2k.

$1500 for a new, rebuild marine v8? You could probsbly get the machining done for that.

Doesn't look like a marriage I want. I can look at it if anyone is interested. Without seeing it he stated they intentionally put the Chevy motor in it. He also seems motivated to send it down the road as he has a much newer inboard now.
