Check the hinges and mounting of the Plattform.

Are the low hours a concern there seems to be a lot of different opinions

    Compression test. Check oil color.

Take it for a test ride. Run it for 20-30 mins and check oil/transmission fluid/Vdrive for any water in the oils. See if you can steer it with 1 finger. (newer steering cable you can, old one needing replaced you could need 2 hands to turn). Any teeth rattling vibrations could be drive shaft/prop.

I just bought a 03 SSV with over a thousand hours and the boat has some of the issues you guys say to look for.

So, how do you fix the sagging platform? The platform at the transom is about 2" above water but the grab handle is 2" below water. Not a huge deal to me to fix but curious if anyone else has the same issue.

My prop had one blade that was blem'd and I hammered it out a little and now my rudder shake is 80% gone. Rudder feels like it's still a little loose? Is there a obvious fix for this?

    Thanks

Re platform, buy the newer style brackets. 2 sets will work fine. From dealer they are about 140/set I think.

re prop- You can send them to repair places and have them back toward new for ~100 +.
Have that done as it will limit other repairs later like seals and drive train.
