    Default Santera?

Any comments from those who have one, have had one, skied behind? What's the wake like? I have an '87 Saltare', the wake is a bit taller than I would like, but it's not too bad at 15' off. Thinking about a newer boat, still need to haul the family too.

    Thanks.

I have had one for 6 years. The wake is not great, but it is manageable, even at 15 off and 34 MPH.

Ours is a 99, and has had no problems, other that the occasional impeller.

Lots of room for people, dogs and other water necessities, we have no ballast in ours though.

Good luck, probably can't go wrong with one.

I don't ski but i have pulled skiers and no complaints. I turned mine into a wakesurfer and it is working well. I love this boat and love the lines of the boat. She's a real looker in my opinion.

Thanks for your replies. Yes. The lines. One of the reasons I'm having trouble parting with the Salt. It's a classic now, I suppose.

My mechanic told me that it's getting to an age where some parts might be hard to come by(!).

So, the boat I was stalking has disappeared. So it goes.

As much as I hate to, I just decided to sell my 2000 Santera. Just don't use it enough to justify keeping it. Excellent Shape. Here is the link if you have any interest:
