I definitely didn't do it myself! It seems original, although I have never seen another yellow saltare. I have bumped into one yellow comp of the era, so it seems like they had yellow in the catalog back then. I wasn't shopping for a yellow boat (or even anything this big) when I bumped into this thing. Like a fool I went and looked at it, then it followed me home...

Hmm. You've got too good of a memory.

Hopefully I will get some action shots of mine in the water this year. Here is the before and after.

Rode with a friend in his boat yesterday, no pics though. Today putzing around wrenching on stuff and trying to get a few things done. Finally started doing some of the teak on the boat. The bow hatch is real bad on the ply part but it is what it is, it'll look a lot better cleaned and oiled. The hinge was all loose and bent and the three frame pieces were loose. Reattached with glue and trim screws along with staples on the back side like factory did. I'll give it a few more coats this week.

Also got a few things in the mail. Plan to put the bus bar under the dash and get full voltage to everything there and eliminate some of the hokey wiring for additional devices. Annoyed the wire I ordered (black) is actually blue, but it'll do for what I need it for.

Also replaced a brake line and bled brakes on trailer. Snagged something a couple weeks ago and broke a line.

I took my girlfriend on a paddle swan boat ride on Lake Eola in downtown Orlando.

    ...then she became my fiance!

Not only is she an amazing person, she was an integral part of getting my boat back together...she even helped with digging out the rotten wood and soaked foam. She's a keeper!

While the running of the course is impressive, going to have to deduct points because it's not behind your boat.
