IMG_20150922_214007.jpg New prop (OJ 13 x 15.5) on old boat (89 Sunsport). Installed it at night with a flashlight, which made for a nice photo. Thing goes like mad now. Better hole shot, better top end, and smooth as silk.

    Saturday night,
Took the family out for dinner in the comp to a lakeside restaurant and sunset cruise.

Found this beauty in a canal.

    Beautiful night, then......

    Epic boat launch failure.
Not the way I wanted to end the season.

Canyon Lake Texas on Saturday - 95 degrees air temp and 80ish in the water. We had the lake to ourselves, what a great afternoon. I have another month in the season at least...

Made it to the end of September. Two evenings in a row on the water. It's getting tough as the sun is now setting before 7pm.
To get in a decent amount of ride time, I had to bring the boat with me to work and have the wife meet me there. (I work about 5 mins from the launch).

But warm temps in the 70's and no wind = smooth water that we just can't miss. Water temp is still above 60 at least. we're just in wetsuit shorts and heater jackets (although my buddy was trunking it tonight). Gets a little brisk on the way back--so I'm happy I finally installed the heater.

My wife's now freeriding on the surfboard consistently and is cruising all over the pocket with lots of control. She's super stoked and is definitely hooked. There's probably a drysuit in her future this winter. (we'll wait for the Wakemakers Black Friday sale).

Not the best surf wave i've ever produced, but she's still having a blast and is all smiles.

Just love it when we get the glass to play on with no boat traffic.

trayson, that is awesome. Glad you are stretching the season out. We did that many times, on both ends. That water looks beautiful...almost as beautiful as the surfer girl that keeps following your boat.
