Default Anyone going to the Portland Oregon boat show

It's hard to believe 30 years ago this weekend I purchased my 1986 supra TS 6M at the Portland boat show.I wish I would've taken more pictures of it back then. This is the only picture I can find of her the first summer.1986 suoraq comp 001.jpgShe now has around 1900 hrs. I think I'm on my fifth or sixth at of set tires. The boat has been all over Oregon, Washington, Northern California, Idaho and Flathead Lake in Montana. The wife and I have raise 4 children their friends and now are working on grandchildren all of which love the water and have fond memories of the time we've spent in the boat.I paid $16,400 which was about the same cost of a brand-new Corvette at the time.IMG_0799.JPGIMG_0798.JPGIMG_0798.JPG20150701_211308.jpgIMG_0799.JPGIMG_0799.JPGIMG_0799.JPGHere's a picture of her 30 years later .She still looks great runs better than that day bought her and is a dream to ski behind.I'm going to the show this Saturday Hope to see you there. I'll be the guy wearing a retro supra hat and T-shirt.Send me a text maybe we can hook up 541-993-3352 And no I will not be buying a new boat.

Your story is virtually the same as mine in every respect, other than I am only "25 years later".
Well done and certainly most enjoyed!

That's some serious pride of ownership. I hope I can provide the kind of care for my boat that comes close to yours.

    Default Congrats on 30 years.

Congrats Hagman! That's a great love affair. Maybe you should treat yourself and the grandkids to a new boat at this year's show.

Both of my first loves were 1983 models, K5 and the Rider.

Fast forward to 2016, newer black truck, same boat
