Our oldest passed his driving test this morning. He drove himself back to school. What a weird feeling of pride in his accomplishments and nervousness about his safety.

Car and extra boat driver!
My eldest is 15. Has his permit and now going through all the drive time before he turns 16. It is a sense of pride, but at the same time, fearful of all the other idiot drivers. We get honked at a time or two each time we are out driving. Too many people in a hurry on the roads. Lake time is much more laid back and relaxing.

I get it ... have watched this with all 5 of my kids, and am only a few years from watching grandkids do the same.
