Well I have finally decided to redo the interior in my 1984 Supra Rider. Not sure if anyone can help me with this question but thought I would give it a shot. I trying to keep it as close to original as possible. I hand been able to match the off white upholstery pretty closely. The issue I am having is the blue upholstery on the side boards, engine cover and instrument panel. It is a little different then what seems to be made now. It is vinyl but almost feels like nylon rather than naugahyde. The color is almost like a blue jean material color. This was popular back in the 80s but I can't find anything like it out there now. Any have any ideas or alternatives? Have seen some blue vinyl with a carbon fiber design that is similar but not quite right. Have also consider the ballastics material used with luggage but again not quite right. Any thoughts? Thanks
Dan
