Default Ghetto gate has gone mass production

Check out the professionally machined version of the ghetto gate (I think some of you on here should have patented your work...). And check out the Delta Universal. Wanted to share to help some of you get additional ideas on your setups you've been crafting.

The only downfall is it is still $400 more than my skateboard ramps.

Yes, definitely a downfall. For what it's worth, I ordered a 1080 skateboard ramp and velcro today!

Hm, seems like anything will work to delay the convergence

Are you using 1 ramp or 2 ramps together?

Awesome, that didn't take long! I'd love to see how it performs. If it performs as well as the 1080 ramps, then I think it might be the winner. Smaller, lighter, suction cups versus applying velcro strips to boat. Looking forward to before and after photos!

Just to keep the comparisons equal, what did your homemade version run in parts?

Cost me about 50 bucks total. I bought a big piece of HDPE 3/4" thick. If I did it again I'd probably just go to wal mart and buy a cheap cutting board. No real need for the thick HDPE stuff.

Here's a before/after for the goofy wave. I didn't want to switch the bags to list each side, takes too long. So goofy before/after, and then a pic of the regular wave fully weighted with the SuckGate.

Only me in the boat. 2006 Supra 20V. 750lb bags in each locker. about 5-600lbs of weight up in the bow/ski locker.

    Listed:

    Even weight with SUCKgate

Wow, if I'm understanding your photos, the SUCKGate made a huge improvement. Impressive! Can you provide a parts list? I'm interested in trying something similar...

I marked everything I bought for this. Didn't use it all, but that's what I got. Also you'll need the handle on demand from amazon and a cutting board.
