    Default Bow Bilge Vent Question....

I was working to make an enclosure for the sub in the drivers foot well on my 09 24SSV. I noticed that the starboard bow bilge vent (chrome inlet in front of and at the base of the drivers windshield) has some kind gizmo (sensor?) wired into it. There is a wire loom and some kind of small "thing" affixed into the plastic snorkel under the chrome trim. Its shaped like and the size of a small Christmas light bulb (but it's not a light bulb) and made of black plastic. There is not one on the port side nor on the rear bilge vents.

    What is this?? Ken

My guess would be a temp sensor. Does your boat have an Air Temp display?
