What year is my boat?

Picked up and old supra ski boat. The guy said it was and 1989. I found a bunch of old registrations with 1986 and 1987 as the year. Is there a tag o the boat somewhere that can tell me the information. The tag next to driver seat is so faded you cant read anything. I can barely see where it says supra ts6m comp. My first boat ive always wanted a ski boat trying to bring this one back from the dead.

The last 2 digits of the vin# on the rear driver side of the Hull, will give you the year of make.
