    Default Replacing Thermostat?

I have a 1999 Supra Santera with an Indmar 5.7. Do you have to remove the throttle body spacer (I think thats what called) to get the thermostat out? It looks like it but I wanted to check to make sure I wasn't missing something.

    Default

For my 1998 Legacy, with the 5.7 liter MPI Indmar, the throttle body had be removed to access the thermostat.

My engine has the tunnel ram intake (I think that is what GM calls it). The throttle body protrudes over the thermostat housing and it was just too close to the housing to access all the bolts and lift off the housing cover.
