It was a bit windy today. Comfortable and relatively dry in a Saltare but I'd be worried about swamping with a wrong maneuver in something like a Comp.

This photo has made me want to take a bit of time one day and get some different action photos. My problem is when I hit the water, I want to get busy playing, and I forget about photos....

How big were the swells? We get 2 to 4' all the time with whitecaps on our river.

How big were the swells? We get 2 to 4' all the time with whitecaps on our river.

About 2'-3', small compared to how my home ride spot can get in weather or when a tug or ahip passes but big for our small lake. Several boats broke away from moorings farther downwind and we had some large tree branches down.

Challenge accepted, though I would be limited to about 18-20MPH max just as a guess based off of those conditions.
