    That's the basic idea, though it would be nice to keep the ski locker hole (on my boat) covered. My upholstery shop seems to think they can do it, so if I wind up spending a little extra coin to have it made I'll post some pics. Thanks.

    Here's the final result- the upholstery shop came up with this, and after discussing some details it came out great! Since I have a ski locker under the aisle the original long cushion was split into two pieces, with the rear being built up to the level of the existing observer's seat. The back then slides into channels on the side walls. This has an advantage for open bow comp hulls in that the slightly higher cushion height may help keep the cabin cruiser wake from shooting over the bow and into your floor, particularly ifseat 1.jpgseat 2.jpgseat 3.jpg the seat back is in.
