Question Floor and stringer replacement: Detailed pricing/pics of work done by a pro shop?

So I have read the many floor/stringer replacement threads, and here are the names that have been mentioned:

    1. Donny at Bennett's Boat Repair: generally considered the best, but now retired?!??! so not an option

    2. Jim at Viper Customs: seems to have good reviews but some concerns about cost.

    3. Sexton's marine in TN- no further information besides some SWAG prices.

    4. Boatdoctors.net, who have a picture of a Supra Comp before/after but little detail on the steps in the job.

Can anyone share detailed photos of the work a professional shop did? DIYs are numerous, and are no doubt very well done (probably better than a shop) but since I would have to hire it out I am concerned with a shoddy job that is carpet covered. I am in the Charlotte, NC area so if anyone has personal experience to share it would be very helpful. Something beyond "he does great work"- that is a good sign but when combined with pictures of the steps and details (like stringer drain slots) it would go a long way to help those of us hiring it out make a final decision.

    Thanks.

#1 is retired but should be in jail.

#2 should be out of business. Stay away!

Very nice boat- looks very similar to mine, which is the low line version of a Conbrio (Impulse).

So far, the feedback on 1. and 2. is not so good, and I saw the few pictures of Sexton's that were posted but there weren't many details. The wood they used looked pretty standard to me, but maybe marine plywood doesn't look like it used to.

Any other details folks can provide would be welcome, whether it's Tennessee or shops elsewhere. I'd travel most anyplace in the Southeast if it's a job done correctly, but so far it looks like it's very hit or miss as to what you pay, and what you get.

Did you call SC to see if they recommend anyone?
That is how #1 was referred to some folks.

I have not called Skier's Choice as I was hoping to be a season or two away from floor replacement- was just hoping to study ahead. I will call them as well as Discount Inboard Marine to see if I can get recommendations. I also have a local lead that has developed, but I think most folks don't account for the Supra double wall curveball. I plan to take pictures and be involved in the details since I don't feel comfortable dropping the boat off and not seeing the process. When that happens I will post details on this forum.

OK so I got these pictures from a friend who had some work done on his MC at this place, Jeffrey Jones Marine Service in Denver, NC (Lake Norman). This looks promising, have a call in to them to see what the details are. The work hasn't really started on this one yet.
