    Default 08 22ssv repower

So I bought an 08 22 ssv. No engine or vdrive. Long story short I'm putting a 07 340 monsoon out of a malibu in the boat. Only reason for this is because I couldn't find a turn key assault anywhere. I did call indmar, they assured me this was a plug and play option.

I would like someone with a supra close to that year to supply me with some detailed pictures of the motor mounts, and the brackets for the throttle and transmission. Also is you wouldn't mind I need to put a trim pump. So the location of that would help. The ultra fiberglass silencer that runs horizontal in the back of the engine is missing as well. I can't find one anywhere to save my life.

Thanks for any replies and pictures in advance.

I can't help with the motor mounts, but I recently ran across this at bakesonline.com.

My boat is in storage, but I have to hookup some power for the batteries in the next few weeks.
I have 2007 SSV 22', so I might be able to hook you up.

    Have you found a V-Drive?

And what do you mean by trim-pump? There's no trim on these boats (or any other hydraulic accessories that would necessitate a pump.)

I would be very surprised if the Monsoon had any different mounting points than the Assault. I'd add the silent ride muffler if you have space (pretty impressed with how quiet my Malibu is because of that.)

I'm also happy to help if you need the opposite -- I've got a Monsoon in my Malibu and easy access to take photos.

Ok. Thanks. The blocks should be identical. They are both general motors blocks. So I'm thinking the mounting points should be the same as well.

I did find a vdrive. 1.5 to 1 walters with vf hurth gear box in front of it.
