So inlet to v drive to pump. Is there a trans cooler? My motor hoses are all there and plumbed but not the inlet or trans or v drive cooling lines. I was told I need a transmission cooler.

Default 07 21V cooling line up?

I am thinking the trans cooler is the metal tube inline on the top hose from the raw water pump at the crank.

The big metal cylinder here in this hose. I had something like this on my I/O, but it was power steering fluid in it. I'm thinking this must be what you are referring to.

Yes that is the tranny cooler.....two hoses from the tranny connect to it, if there is a dripless shaft seal it usually gets it cooling water from the smaller drain outlet on the cooler, although i dont think they started using dripless until 08
