    Default Coast Guard Capacity Placard

Help, I have a sweeet 1988 Mariah I picked up with only 300 hours. Problem is it is missing the Coast Guard Capacity Placard and I have no information whatsoever. Can anyone maybe post a pick of theirs. I know I can get them made up but have no idea what to put on it....ie persons, weight ,etc!

I had the same issue when I bought my bought. I called Skiers Choice and they hooked me up with the correct one for less than $10.

This is from the 1990 Supra owners manual. Should be pretty close. Pages from 90_20-23-Supra_Owner_Manual.jpg

Just be aware that if your boat is over 20' you are not required to have a capacity plate posted. It's your choice.

I took a screen shot. See if this works. It's the same language as the posting above (although a different model name)

To clarify again, you already ARE legal. Your boat is over 20' and therefore not required to have a capacity plate. The only thing a capacity plate will do is get you in trouble if you have more than whatever it states on board. It's your call, I'm just trying to let you know it's not a legal requirement for boats over 20'.
