Supra Sunsport Cavitation plate

I have an 88 supra sunsport and I have been told I can adjust the cavitation plate to make a bigger wake. Im not sure which way to adjust it up or down?

i assume you have the manual cavitation plate on your 88 supra now. i have an 89 supra comp with the manual plate. i just ordered the hydraulic plate for the comp. if you adjust the plate so that it is horizontal or slightly turned down in relation to the bottom of boat that is considered slalom, or very little wake setting. if you adjust the plate all the way up
this allows a much bigger wake. it is a pain to manually adjust for different people or slalom versus wakeboard. the hydraulic plate is the only way to go.
