Default 1986 Sunsport (open bow) rebuild

    Thanks @okieboarder
Almost ready to slap some paint on her. I'm really tempted to paint over all the fresh gel coat, I'm just sick of trying to get the finish right..

Seems like every year we get a new batch of full-rebuilds. Yours is looking nice. Keep it up!

    Why the rush? Looks good.

Also, that has the Rider windshield where it had the long arms and they cut them off. (From your first pics) Don't see many '86 Sunsports with that style of windshield. I'd be curious to see the HIN on this boat.

Thanks Mischief! Hey good point, I've never looking into that. I'll have to run the HIN and check the title.

I'm planning on fastening the lower engine surround with 2 stainless steel pinned hinges and 2 anti-rattle latches.

I'll be fastening the seats with corner brackets and inset threads in the floorboard so that then can be unscrews and removed.

I like that passenger seat ! Looks like my same setup ! I made the seat lower the 2nd time though to allow for 10"
    Foam . Looks good

Thanks Lively! I just wanted enough room to get into opening in the bottom of console. I may end up cutting it down a few inches for that same reason, to allow for foam height
