Losing power around 3000rpm

I'm on here for a buddy of mine is a 2007 and supra with the 325 indmar. Last fall I get a new driveshaft put in new prop a new starter he didn't take the boat out until just recently and when he took it out to the lake fired up I don't smooth temperature was around 160 but we need to go to hammer down the boat wouldn't accelerate he had to ease into the throttle and could only getting up to about 3000 RPMs before It would fall on its face. My first placed think would be with a fuel issue has anyone else had any troubles like this any input would be much appreciated.

Old gas? What is the fuel pressure?

Yep. And change fuel filter.

I would say check your plugs, wires, cap and rotor. I overlooked this last year and found this to be the culprit.
