How is the gauge cluster fastened into to dash? My depth finder is on the fritts and i need to replace it.

Okay, there are four bolts into the dash from the backside holding the instrument cluster in place. I have a Lawrance #3500 depth finder i must replace. I bought a "Hawkeve" depthfinder and the bezel does not fit well i plan to return it.

I have the same issue on my 96 La Brisa... the Lowrance gauge was all cracked and messed up.. I got it out and took it apart and it appears to have gotten water inside it. I've read that since the 3500 was discontinued, I will likely need a new puck (transducer) as they are not compatible with the newer gauges. I haven't tracked down the puck yet anyways, that's next on the list.
