    Default Towing Towables

I was wondering what the tow rating was of the ski pylon on a 2002 SSV 22'? I have bought my kids a 4 person towable and wondered if I should hook the rope to the ski pylon or the rear eyes on the back of the boat.

    Thanks,

I use the ski pylon to pull the molecule tube loaded with kids and adults. I check it every couple of trips out to ensure it isn't loose. You should be fine.

I would be willing to bet the rope will give way before the pylon mount, unless you are using a cable. I don't think I would use the rear tow hook eye but the rear lift rings would be an option, since that is how the boats are handled and loaded onto trailers at the factory.
