I haven't done it but I can imagine it's: pulling the rubrail and drilling out all the rivets holding the upper and lower together, disconnecting any wired connections, steering cable, and throttle cable, might be a couple other things people can chime in on. Guess you have to ask how soft the floor is an how much it bothers you. The reality is, that if you pull up the carpet and try a local repair of the floor, you are likely to find more problems beneath. And a little project may begat a bigger project as you try to cut back to dry wood before reglassing the floor. I'm in the same boat, as it were. I'm watching the motor mounts and so far no one has put their foot through the floor. Some time in the future I'll be getting the floor and stringers done though.
