    Default 2015 Supra sa400

Looking at buying the boat in the title. It has the Supra Swell surf system and 3200lbs ballast. How’s the surfing behind this boat? Anything I need to make sure it has? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

It's strength of the boat is a wakeboarding boat right out of the box with stock ballast. The 2015 is the older SA hull. Redesigned in 2016.

That boat must have add'l ballast. I ? think ? the stock was 2900#s.

What options are on the boat? Like the PTM tower, racks, mirror, etc.

    Hey Mitch
I just purchased exactly the same Supra. Hull is the old design but still holds very well in the water and I actually prefer the shape.
I had a problem with the raw water pump that was quickly fixed up. There is an update for the vision system (I think firmware) that I had my Dealer also update.
Haven’t had a chance to surf behind it yet.

For surfing, the boat will like between 3K to 4K#s with a list to the surf side. Shift people when sitting.

Watch the bow of the boat when someone falls. The 2015 models to sit pretty low to the water. The redesign in 2016 took care of that, but the boat has a totally different look.

Sounds like a nice ride with your options, plus low hours.

Looks like it if it all goes through we will have almost the exact same boat. The one I’m looking at has charcoal on the side is the only difference.

Thanks for the replies and info guys!

Once you take a ride in it, load it down and see how it planes out.

Even the 2016s get slower to plane with > 3k of ballast and people..
