Default Check Engine Light on 07 24ssv.

The lake i live on has a river attached to it and you have to launch on the river since there are no launches on the lake. The river was low and we got the boat stuck in muck, I tried getting us out and the temperature got up to 200 then I shut it off for awhile. We ended up pushing the boat into deeper water and going from there. The boat runs fine but there is now a check engine light that wont go off. Is there anyway to plug in a code reader?

There is a plug on the rear of the engine for a code reader. Not the same as an automotive reader. http://www.rinda.com/marine/marinemenu.htm
