Default 2011 242 (ready to pull the trigger)

About to purchase our first Supra 2011 242. It's our 3rd boat but first wake boat.

Any suggestions for this new SUPRA owner?

Where is the best place to pick up surf boards, wake boards, etc...? (adults and kids)

    Thanks

    -Tom

Pull that trigger!! Great boat. Great wake.
Love mine. They have beautiful lines and fit a lot of people comfortably. One of the best boats Supra has made.

I used Evo.com and Bartswatersports.com for my board purchases. Nice to have a wide variety of boards for my family for different ages, weight class, and skill levels. Love my Ronix best but it’s not for beginners.

Liquid Force Suede Grip Wake Surf Rope is great. Also from Bart’s.

Look up Inland Curl wakeshaper on Facebook or eBay. $140 unit that works great on my 242. Don’t let the three letter troll on here tell you it’s a POS, because it isn’t. 242 has a great wake already but will need the enhancement for more push.

Also, upgrade the 600 lb bags in rear for 1100s if not already done.
Visit Wakemakers.com for stuff like that. May want to grab some new impellers for your pumps too and replace annually.

I’m sure I’m missing something but others will chime in. Good luck!

Post a picture when you get a chance. My experience is that's great boat. Take some time and familiarize yourself with it. Properly maintained it will give you many good years and plenty of opportunities to enjoy good times with family and friends.

Congrats!! Welcome to the forum. Beautiful boat! Nice color combo...haven't seen one in those colors before. That yellow stripe pops with that blue.

Stereo is upgraded from the looks of it.

I like those trailer wheels too. They don't look factory.

How many hours are on it?

Hey just curious with you fellas, just picked up my 2014 242. It's got the big screen for all the controls. Not sure which models have that which don't. Love the boat, but I seem have some kind of electrical glitch everytime I go out. Ballast pumps trip, radio won't boot, ballast won't empty, trim plate trips, .... always something minor. Never a show stopper, but just annoying. Boat only had 28 hours on it when I bought it. Yall experience anything similar?

You need to check to see of the firmware is up to date. Dealer should be able to check this for you. I have heard of there being issues with the Vision systems around your year, but local dealer should be able to get that corrected. I have issues sometimes with my speed control, but it is a satellite reception issue.
