    Default 1989 TS6M Comp

I just bought my first boat this past weekend. It is an 1989 TS6M Comp with a PCW 351.

I spent some time today taking off the ugly decals on the sides of the boat and I am working with a local sign shop on getting some custom decals made for the sides of it.

Here are some pics. What color decal do you think would look best on the sides of it?

Wow she's in good shape, nice! Can't go wrong with black on the decals.

I like the boat the way it is... What kind of decals were you thinking of and how did you take off the old ones I'd like to do that with my own.

I was thinking about getting one of the newer supra decals custom made so its to scale with my boat.

I used a heat gun to remove the stickers and 3m adhesive remover and laquer thinner to remove the excess glue and lines.

Then it left a nice line of oxidation so i removed that with a rotary buffer and a cutting pad and meguiars heavy duty oxidation remover.

you can find custom decals on eBay. I have seen the Supra tribal style 36" long for less than $50.

    Default footplate (drivers side)

Nice boat! I just bought a 1991 Conbrio. Same boat as yours but open bow. The plastic molded foot plate is all cracked. I am trying to get a replacement. Any ideas?

I just put new 08 supra swoosh decals on my 88 comp. They are amazing and look great. They will set you back about $200 but look great.
