2002 Launch SS Feedback

If anyone has experience with this boat, send me some feedback. Specifically, price performance thoughts.. Ski-ability in the course, riding and overall family ski boat stuff.

I appreciate anything that you guys can share. The good, the bad and the ugly if this is possible...

It really seems to to be the best cross-over boat for the $$ right now. Thoughts?

I bought a Launch SS last year. It is a really great boat. The wake is large at slow speeds, but flattens out nicely at typical slalom speed (>30 mph). The only technical problem that I have found is that the factory apparently seals the oil drain with locktight, so it is practically impossible to drain the oil through the oil hose. I recommend that you have the dealer change the oil using the hose (no topsider change) and specify that it be reassembled using teflon tape.
