Default 1992 Supra ski platform question

Iím in the process of rebuilding the ski platform/Deck off of my Supra. I just finished gutting all of the rotted wood on the inside of the fiberglass shell. My question is, what is the best way to remove the 2 black adhesive anti slip pads on the top of the deck?

I have not tried a heat gun. I was trying to get ideas of how to remove it before I get there. I just stripped out the core. Still need to do some sanding. Then, it’s onto fiberglass work.

Well, bad news. The further I clean this old, fiberglass out I’m finding dead spots.. I’m hoping by today the sanding portion will be done and I can move onto Fiberglass layering tomorrow.
