Default 2016 Bluetooth will not pair

Recently purchased a 2016 Supra SA. Previous owner had 5 phones paired. Will not allow me to delete his phone’s to enter mine. Supra says I need to take to dealer and have new version updates. Rediculous !!! Is their any other way?
    Thanks for any suggestions

I have the exact same problem on my 2016 Supra. The dealer says that I will need to bring it in for a hard reset to clear the previously paired phones, and that it will cost me $200. Really? Seems a little pricey for entering a dealer code and doing a factory reset. There’s got to be another answer out there.

I have this same issue on the 2018 SL450 I just bought from a non-Supra dealer. I had read on a different forum that the fix is a simple upload of an update patch that can be done with a file loaded on a USB Flash drive. My boat is already in the water and it would seem ridiculous to waste a day to pull it out and drive it to a dealer and pay them $200 for such a simple fix that I could do.

Has anyone on here been provided the link to download the fix?

    Sincicely,

    Excite dto own a Supra.
