Default Transducer, Not depth or Temp

I own a 2009 V21 Supra and would really appreciate any assistance in resolving a transducer problem.

Approximately six months ago the depth and temperature would intermittently stop displaying on the dash gauges and then completely stopped.
On advise I ordered a new transducer through the Supra dealer in Sydney and when it was installed in the boat both depth and temperature worked again but only for two days.

I have since taken the boat to a marine electronics specialist who has confirmed the data output from the transducer and checked and cleaned all possible wire connectors, the data for the speed sensor is working fine.
My electronics dude was unable to resolve the problem and could provide no further advice as he didn't understand how the system worked.

    Has anyone else experiences problem?

Most likely the triducer is on CAN. Speed should be a green wire which is a pulse signal. Validate power and ground at the triducer. Then check for 1.5v-3v across the two can wires (should be blue and white twisted Pair) with the key on. He can also check voltage from one CAN wire to ground then check the other. Should see .1 to .2v differential. If the CAN (the network) is active at the plug and you have power and ground, the triducer is bad.

Thanks for your response, the transducer is brand-new and when bench tested was providing depth data correctly. I will definitely go back and check the voltages across the Can wires.
    Cheers
