    Default New to me Supra.....

    Good morning,

I am somewhat familiar with direct drives.....About to pull the trigger on a 2001 Sunsport w/ low hours, new gauges, new prop, new interior. Fiberglass/gelcoat needs some love, it is am20 yr old boat. I am mechanically inclined, so I’m not afraid of a little project and elbow grease, my question, are the boats all fiberglass....Stringers and floor? I will lake test Wednesday. Any suggestions on what to inspect would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Supra started building composite boats in late 91 . You have nothing to worry about with stringers or floor on a 2001. How about some pics ?

Also, has a few really good gashes/gouges in the gel coat due to no pvc covers on trailer guides. Any suggestions other than bringing her in to a fiberglass shop?
