It sounds like the damper plate may be broken it is the connection between the engine flywheel and the transmission input shaft kinda like a clutch on a car . If the damper is broken its a easy replacement. Skidim has them.

That's already been replaced.

If the input shaft on the trans is spinning and the output is not check the drive shaft cuppler if its ok the trans has an internal problem . Its a 1 to 1 gear ratio.
