    Default Battery drain

    Hi all,

New forum user and newer boat owner (2 seasons). I have a 550 SE and love it! However, yesterday after surfing with family, I started getting an error saying the batteries were low. So, I charged the batteries all night and checked to confirm they were charged before taking the boat out again. After about an hour I got the same error messages saying the battery is low. My concern is why would BOTH batteries be unable to maintain charge? Doesn’t that seem odd? I would normally just assume it’s a bad battery, but with both being bad at the same time, it makes me wonder if somethings drawing power, or my alternator is bad? Any input would be awesome! Thanks, Korey 0CD57E43-4CD1-4577-BB9C-CBBB47B9A9C2.jpg

Id say the alternator is not contributing, if that pic is with the engine running.
