    Default new pylon

    Hello all,

After a tug on the ski I noticed I had a pretty severe amount of play in the pylon. Boat is a 1987 Comp TS6M. It appears the angle iron piece from the bottom of the pylon to the bottom of the hull broke, which then put too much stress on the lag bolts that hold the plates into the stringers, breaking some and pulling others out. There's some bent metal and of course the broken piece. Pretty tempted to just buy a new one over trying to fabricate this one back together. However, I can't seem to find a source on a new one to price it out. Anybody know where to find one? Or possibly parting out a boat with a pylon that would work? Thanks
