    Rudder needed.
    Mine's at the bottom of lake. Everything else looks fine..

    I have a complete rudder,Port and arm off a 85 comp . I don't know if it will work 250.00 plus shipping.

    It would be a good time to up grade to the new style rudder & box assembly.

    I'd nornally think that too, but apparently you have to drill thr hull,, Ski Choice say the 06 rudder will work if you bore out port.
    To be honest i want to stay with original set up, ive been in all sorts of boats and this little flips around better than others.

    I tried doing what you are thinking and I get it. But mix and match is a pain in the you know what. Been there. I ended changing out the rudder and new matching rudder box. The new parts have a better baring & seal. The install isn't bad 2 hrs. maybe. The hardest part was getting the old box out 3M 5200 sticks really good.
