SeaDek carpet replacement

I have a 2003 Supra Launch that I bought new and want to replace the carpet with SeaDek. Has any one ever done this if so do you have any recommendations?

I've seen posts on social media about people taking out the carpet and replacing with SeaDek or Gator Step on those models.

I was never a fan of carpet in my 2007 Supra, snap in carpet would be better, but the Gator Step in the newer boats is great.

Carpeting is all glued in - messy, but not hard to remove. Scraper and shop vac.

You will find uneven gaps in the flooring when you remove the carpet. Seen people glue in pieces of plastic (looks like weather stripping) to make the gaps more uniform/even where the floor pieces meet. Trying to remove any gaps where the floors meet the side walls for the seats.
