    Default Launch 21V Decal Placement

I have a 2008 Launch 21V. This winter I am stripping the old flame/tribal decals and other damaged SUPRA decals from my boat. Before applying new decals I will sand, buff and with a little look have a boat that looks brand new... although it's not too bad as it is.

I decided to go with a look that was offered in 2011 and after. I have acquired the raised chrome "SUPRA" lettering that was common on the sides and transom, and the raised chrome "Launch 21V".

I want to make sure I get these placed in the exact right place. Is there any published guidance for exact decal location or measurements?

    Before pics are attached.

    Any advice?

Nothing published that I'm aware of so it's your preference. I would check placement first by using some painters tape to mark it out. There is no right or wrong here. Here's a side profile pic of my boat as a guide. My wife's shoulders are about dead center with the P but depends on how it looks on your boat at your helm.
Not sure how many inches below the rub rail it sits. This thread contains a lot more pics of the boat.

If you looks at these pics, the letters are parallel to the water line when the boat is sitting still.

Thanks for all the input. I'll post some pics when I actually put them on.

Finished up with the decal removal. Had it professionally sanded and polished. She looks pretty good naked!

Any advice on making the Photobucket watermark go away? I assume that is a paid subscription feature?

Looks great with those flames removed.
    Chrome was proper choice.

    Nice job!
