Black is timeless unlike trendy colors. Supra in the mid nineties had pastel pinks and greens and today will instantly date those boats when you see one pop up on Craigslist.
Supra colors like Raspberry, vivid oranges and intense greens will scream 2020 in the year 2035 but I'm pretty sure the guys that buy a boat over 100k don't really care as it will never become a family heirloom. Whereas I look long term at all purchases and never sell anything, most boat guys nowadays are in for 1-5 years, then selling for the next greatest wave maker but what do I know, I'm as old school with my opinions as I am my boats.
At least you gave your opinion which was appreciated. And you are not wrong about certain colours dating themselves.
