Default 2019 SA stereo static sound and loud poping

Anyone know how to fix static sound on stereo and how to get rid of popping sound when power off and on? Dealer said they fixed ground but it didn't do anything. I'm wondering if the JL factory amps are the issue.

My 2018 SA had the start up thunk/pop. No static though.

My understanding is something in the battery switch.

I know on vehicle PA systems that a filter is usually installed to reduce the sound pop and static when ignition is turned on and fuel pumps and other accessories kick on.

I would consult with an car audio shop.

Honestly, this condition is unacceptable on a Supra.

Have the amp gains been adjusted? Maybe way up at some point? I don’t have this on 2017 SA.

    Factory amp settings.

I sold the 2018, but will be pissed if my 2021 does the same thing.

Some say if you run the battery switch in 1&2 position it’s fixes it, but Skiers Choice does not recommend running boat in 1&2 position.

That is interesting. I have heard the “thump” but usually volume was left up, shut down was not completed properly, or amp gains were really high.

Battery switch made no difference in position unfortunately. I am pissed that Supra has not attempted to correct this for as much money I spent!

I have the same thump issue when I turn the battery switch off, I thought it was normal. Mine is due for 100hr service soon, I’ll have them check it out.
