Default 2007 Supra 21V Launch crumbly wake left side

    Hi All,

New member and went and looked at a 2007 21V Launch today. The wake on the left (passenger) side was quite crumbly, compared the the right side which was crisp and clean. This was with no ballast and 2 fiarly equal weigh adults in the driver and passenger seats. I'm used to our old Ski Nautique that has an even wake both sides.

Is there anything to be concerned about, im assuming i can even it out with ballast on that side (didn't have time to try today), but it seems strange that the wake is not even both sides?

Any other things to look out for when buying this model boat?

It has 850 hours, service record, seems to run nice.

    Thanks

    Rob

I've never noticed a difference unless there is a wind. A crosswind makes a huge difference from side to side.

I have a '06 21V and we just put some extra weight on that side. It evens up pretty easily and gives off a nice crisp, steep wake on both sides.

Can the curve of the hull withstand the influence of wind? I see someone modified the hull himself.

What did he do to the hull?
