    Default Preventative shaft seal replacement?

Good evening - I am a new owner of a really well cared for 2004 Sunsport direct drive. It is in great shape and has been well maintained and mostly garage kept. Has about 275 hours on it. We will be putting it into a slip this season and just don't have access to a shore station. Currently there isn't anything noticeably wrong with the shaft seal, but just curious what you all think about proactively replacing it before putting in this season?

    Thanks!

    Bill

That is what insurance is for . If it aint broke don't fix it. You may cause a leak buy messing with it . You will cause a lot of issues by leaving it in the water.
