    Default New owner questions

Last fall I bought a 2007 24SSV gravity game addition. I got it out of storage last week and started going through it, put it on the water for an hour this afternoon just for a system check. First when I ran it in the shop with a fake a lake a lot of water was coming out around the propeller shaft under the boat, is this normal? Second question is there is a weep hole under the boat near the fins that runs a lot of water out after it has been in the lake. What is this and is that normal?

Thanks for the help I’m sure I will have a few more questions once we get out some more.

The water around the prop is from the dripless coupler around the propshaft. It has a hose going to it to cool and lubricate it. Its normal fir water to come out when running out of water. I don't know about the weep hole?

No this hole is right in front of the center fins. About 3/16 diameter. I am thinking it should not be there.

That would be the drain hole from which you remove the plug and drop the oil drain line down thru in order to drain your engine oil . Assuming it is a mid engine boat.
