    Default 1988 comp fuel line

I have a leak on the threaded fitting into the carb. I have tried tightening it to stop the leak and it successfully does, but only for a little while. By the end of a set it has loosened up or started leaking again.

Do these fittings have o rings or gaskets to help the seal? Or are these just tapered fittings that need some sort of thread seal like ptfe tape but fuel resistant?

Thanks for those of you that have the knowledge. I’ll be disassembling it this week to solve the problem.

The line itself seals against the taper on the inside of the fitting that is threaded into the bowl casting. There should be a copper washer between the bowl fitting and the bowl. You don't need sealer on the fuel line fitting either, as it seals against the taper. I would use a flare nut wrench if you have one though. It looks like your starting to round over the fitting.
