Default How many bilge blowers in 1989 Conbrio?

My (new to me) 89 Conbrio has two blower switches on the dash, but only one is connected. The fan is mounted in the transom and takes air from the rear of the bilge to one of the four ports in the transom. Previous owners hacked away at the original ductwork so I can't tell what the factory configuration was.

Any advice on whether there were two original blowers and how they vented?

    Thanks,
    John

My TS6M has two blowers as well. I haven't checked the locations but from what I know of the marine industry, one is for the engine bay itself and the other for the fuel tank area, most likely areas for a leak.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks; that makes sense. The functioning blower intake is near the fuel tank. If I can't find the defunct one, I'll just open the engine cover before starting.

When/where did you get your boat? What color is it?

Be careful with just opening the engine cover. Gasoline vapors are heavier than air.
