Default 2012 Sunsport smart plate question

Howdy y’all. Im the 3rd owner of my Supra and I’ve never really gotten the wakeplate to do much. I’ve read through the manual and still don’t see much to guide me. So hopefully y’all can help. I’d like to start with the first question, if I hold the level in the Up position, the analog gauge reads up, the digital gauge shows 0 and the actual plate is in a down position. Is this correct or did someone wire this thing backwards at some point? Here is the position when set per the above readouts.

Have you confirmed plate is moving up and down? Not stuck in the down position is it?

To answer your question, on the digital main screen, the smart plate indicator at 0 = level plate or flat with hull. Any number greater than 0 is headed towards the downward angle.
Analog gauge only reads up or down and that should be self explanatory.

Here is a pic of my 2012 Sunsport 242 at speed to show you.

Here is a shot at 100 or all the way down.

In your first post, it looks like the plate is in the down position with the key in the off position.
I thought they should retract to even when the boat shuts off.

Agree with the post above - are you sure it's working?
    Do you have enough fluid?

Thanks. Seems like my wiring is backwards as it does the exact opposite of what your saying. Gonna start with that.

It definitely works. But it’s a wiring issue I believe. Also… what fluid are you talking about. It’s an electric ram.

My previous 2007 had a reservoir for fluid. If it was low, it would not work properly to retract.
The 2018 I have now, I have no idea. Never looked in the engine compartment for it.
