Installed new Bilge and Rocker switch, not working!

I installed a new bilge pump in my '06 supra launch ssv 24'. checked the circuit breakers, and inline fuse under dash, rocker came on, bilge came on. But when I put the bilge into its base, the rocker light dud not work and bilge eont come on. Test light to fuse was good, bilge pump works, I can't figure out why it won't work at switch. Any ideas?

is the new pump a 2 or 3 wire? If 3-wire, make sure you are wired to the switched brown wire and not the auto float brown wire.

Also, having a breaker and fuse is redundant. The bilge only needs one, of the proper value, pre-switch. However, of the breaker is for the switched manual bilge and the inline fuse is for the auto, both are needed as they are 2 different electrical circuits.
